    Default 5ltr ignition leads

    what is the easy way to change the ignition leads.... or is it as hard as it looks???

    use a flathead screwdriver to pop the clips off the cap & a torch to see what your doing back there. Its easier to change them with the cap lifted up & possibly out depending on how you go.

    its not that bad really, yeah it's a pain in the ass but it could be worse. like old mate said, dont change them when its hot unless u got a really high pain threshold!

    all i did was take the engine covers off, pull the leads off the plugs, get the cap off the dizzy and somehow squeeze it up between the firewall and manifold, its a tight fit, the rotor button was in the road so wound it over a liitle until the rotor button was in a spot where it wasn't in the road. keep trying and you'll get the bastard out.

    installation is the reverse, just have a good look at the vacuum lines etc at the back of the motor where you've been working once its all back together, just in case one got knocked loose
