    Default VN Engine Conversion

    Hey all,
    im looking at placing a 2JZ-GTE into my vn and just wondering what prices id be lookign at for-

    gettin it put in including wirring????

    (do i need to buy new engine mounts for it???)

    enginerring it so its road legal?????

    Yes you will need to get it engineered. Getting somebody else to do all the work, probably about $10,000. Or you could get some quotes instead of asking on a forum where you will get no real affirmative answer.

    Lots of custom stuff for a job like this.

    Castlemaine do the mounts for the toyota V8 but not sure bout the 2j. I'd go one compared to the RB26 as they are cheaper and just as tough. Seen one on ebay for under $3000 which was complete engine. I want to see pics if it has been done before please!
