    Question How low can i go till i smell bacon?

    Hey guys not shure if this has already been posted but i just wanted to know how low can you take your car before you start getting police attention every where you drive??

    i was ganna go just flush with the wheel archs but to do that it would mean cutting springs and it seems thats not a good idea! so now my only option is to buy lower springs (there lower than i like)

    can i get some that will only just tuck the tyre on the rear guard??
    and is this ganna cause me to be stopped every time a cop see's me?

    my ute is lowered on 18s, stands out a fair bit but i havnt been pulled over or had any troubles with the police, you drive sensible and do the right thing they will leave you alone

    yeah man im on my greens, ive had cops near me heaps no trouble at all, so i reakon you should be right just dont go really low

    Nar i just wanna take the gap out of the wheels thats all so ill only go down a little bit.. im ganna have to do some research on what size i gotta get!

    oh ok, i just went to pedders and said i want my ute low as legally possible, im pretty happy with how it sits..... pretty bumby ride tho lol, my next car i reakon ill go to falcrum

    my bro's vs has been sitting on the bump stops at the back for around 2 months now i guess, at first it was on 15" Stockies and now its back on the 18"s its been pulled over a few times and looked all over, (cops spent 15 mins trying to find the date on the gas tank) and hes never been picked up on too low, so i guess it just depends on what cop you get and how much they like you

    In Victoria your car needs to be min 100mm above ground level fully laden and also retain 2/3 of the original suspension travel. Stick to those guidelines and you will be fine

    I have 17's that are about an inch tucked under all the time (EVEN LOWER than in my car's thread) and ive NEVER been pulled over for it... just don't drive like a twat and your fine. I couldnt go any lower or id have to start modding the body lol...

    I would go superlows at the back 50mm,and lows at the front 30mm should b right with that

    And another bonus you will have a safe vehicle to drive and will most likely handle better than some Commodores I see around that cant even go over a a speed bump.

    Also I find treating cops with a little respect wont do you any harm either

    you can drive a bone stock mint car, like a nob, and give the cop attitude for pulling you over, and still get a canary or something of the sort
