Hey everyone iw as wondering if its hard to remove the throttle body on a vp commodore to clean it and what do i clean it with?. Thansk heaps
removing it is easy as if you look at the throttle you will see a bolt that holds it on the then underneath will be another unplug the icm and tps and the map sensor hose and it will come str8 off and i normally clean it with degreaser or wd40 brings up the best results also make sure u take off the icm and clean all the carbon off it try and make sure its quite clean for the best results and reverse the surgery to put back on also reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery for 10 mins then shall be all sweethave fun
Ok thanks mate

Those instructions with pics should make the job a little easier, just make sure you don't go using carby cleaner as i have been recommended in the past. It's corrosive and can make a mess of your TB and accompanying sensors. As marty20 said wd40/rp7 or just plain old metho will do the job nicely.
