Default Put VR/VS cluster face onto VN VP cluster?

    Hey guys,
I know that you will smoke up a VR cluster by throwing it into a VN , But after having one apart is it possible to put the VR guage face into a VN cluster?
and if so can you put a VR l2 set of guages (tacho ect) over a level 1 cluster?
    Cheers

The VR gauges will go straight in VN L2 cluster, I recently did it. Screw out of the old put in the new.

In regards to converting VN L1 to L2 style, I think 88GreenVN has done this.

    Cheers mate,
Yeah im fairly sure its doable to convert from level 1 to 2 but just wanted to double check whats involved as im not sure if the gear behind is the same. Only reason is the VR dash looks 100 times better than the VN or VP dash i have so thinking if i can get a cheap dash fascia ill spruce it up a bit.
    Cheers

Yep - selling on Ebay now Take sabout 30 mins to convert a L1 VN cluster with L2 VR gauges. All you do is punch a hole through the PCB backing in 7 places for the gauges to mount into and scrap the copper tracks for the nuts to make good contact.

You use the VN case, PCB, voltage regulator and lens. I've made up about 6 of them and sell them for $44 for a high K unit and $64 for 1 under 100,000kms.

Ahh i saw that on ebay lol.
figured rather than mucking around with pinouts to get my warning lights correct (VP dash in a VN) i thought id have some fun and modify a VN dash to look better
    Cheers guys

Yep - best way to go then you dont have to move any wires and all the warning lamps work as they should. Even the VR/VS speedo works fine in the VN cluster.

I've found the VR tacho is more accurate the VN one too
