I have two cop chips in my VR for extra fully sickness bro, but i'm driving a bit slower these days so could probably live with just one fitted. Wanna buy the one i'm taking out?![]()
Whoever said 'There is no substitute for cubes' had obviously never heard of Jet power
message the member delcowizid - he has wrecked a few BT1s and has a few spare chips in his fridge. I think he eeven uses the cop tune on his VN wagon
You gotta be careful to only take the car out in cold weather though, too much heat can cause condensation in the odometer seals and erase the chip.
Dont listen to any of these guys that say its not real, they are just bullshitting you cos you are a new member. I have taken a ride in delcowizids vn (with cop chip) and it is definitely the fastest commodore I have ever been in.

mate, I can't speak for the other states, but in Qld there was no such thing as a 'cop chip' - and I'm fairly sure it's the same case for the other states.
Some highway pursuit cars were HSV 'enhanced' SS's or BT1's, in which case they had the standard HSV 185kw upgrade package (including CAI, exhaust & memcal to suit) or in Vt 195kw.
If you plan on fitting some sort of cold air intake, upgrading the exhaust - then the HSV memcal will be of some benefit.
Here is the premium cop chip.

ok Andrew426 for starters he is hardly new he has what 180 odd post so personally thats not new. also there is not such thing as a cop chip they just had upgraded break package, fe2 suspension ?? cold air, exhause and a standard hsv chip in them and no thats not a cop chip. ahhh dear jonko just so you know for future reference use the search bar at the top for questions because sometime they have either been solved or in this case answered. also it saves urself from humiliation lol
dunno bout the v8s but the v6 does not have a cop chip if they did they wouldnt be soooo bloody slow
