engine warning symbol coming up in VN....

hi guys,

ive noticed that my engine warning symbol under speedometer has been popping up on and off recently, mainly when i drive with Petrol, but sometimes when im on LPG too. it only seems to come on when i use the breaks a lot which is leading me to think that its something to do with when the car is going too slow or something??? could it be serious?
for some reason until a week ago, the car was also stalling when it was in 'Parking or neutral'....

any ideas?
