vn v8 air intakes

Hi guys new member and first time post. Finally back in the commodore fold after a long time away. Just purchased clean vn calais v8. Car is lowered with a zorst. Just Wondering what the best CAI to use is? If it is a certain model holden 1, e.g vs 2 or an after market 1 like a mace engineering item. Any feed back would be welcome.

does anyone know if the vs top airbox section will fit on the vn bottom section? Is it worth changing it? Decided to just run a 100mm duct to the front of the car and cut the front of the air box out. Maybe run a heat sheild to the rad panel. The ducting is on sale at repco for $6 thought it was a bargain.

pretty sure the airbox top and bottoms were interchangeable

What do you have the pod just behind the grill? Out of the bay.
