vn v8 mods please help i want to increase my power any ideas??

have you got highflow cats and a cat back to go with the extractors? you could also invest in a CAI and some high ratio roller rockers just to name a few things, its manual or auto btw?

Next best thing you can do is make a very good cold intake, a 100mm pipe from the airbox to the front of the car is the best way, after that a good twin system but that's much less gain per dollar than the CAI

you could also get a shift kit put in to get it up going a bit better too, i would first finish off the rest of the exhuast then CAI like foamy suggested

im guessing u would be running the standard (tall) diff ratio. try and hunt down an R31 skyline (the one with a vl motor and round taillights) or a pintara of similar vintage and rip out the diff gears cos they are lower ratio.

from memory the skyline manual had 3.7 gears, auto 3.9 and the pintara was manual 3.9, auto 4.11 ratio. get ya lsd centre shimmed up when u put the new gears in or be a hardcore crim and get a spool. it will liven ya car up nicely
