Help me pick one, I've no idea where to start or who makes decent wheels
Replacing my $200 odd SAAS wheel as it is a piece of shit and has fallen apart. Even the ****ing boss kit fell apart. How do they get away with selling this rubbish, it's less than 2yrs old!
SO! My question is, who makes a wheel I can fit myself, will look sexy as hell, and last ideally as long as a standard one (forever)???? Momo? Isotta?
Help me out! keen for ideas. Must not look homo. Ideally won't cost the earth. Must be ADR'd, car needs to pass pits with new driveline.
Cheers
Sam

Yeah good one mate, because with over 3000 posts on this forum alone I still don't know how to do my own research and should DEFINITELY buy the first one I find on ebay.
I'm asking for people's opinions about which manufacturers actually build to a decent standard of quality so I don't blow another wad of dollars on a piece of worthless china shit that will fall apart and cause me to start a rage fire and burn down the car

get a calais steering wheel or ss one that is stock holden item then it will past rwc and suit the car aswellthats my 2 cent worth
Try and hunt down a HSV momo wheel that they used for the VN-VP.
Expect to pay top dollar for one in good nick though.
I brought a Momo Race almost 8-9 years ago and looks as good as the day I brought it. You pay more for Momo but last longer and look ten times better then 'cheaper' wheels.
Just go and get a VR non airbag wheel they look good, are smaller so your not driving a bus and you can still see all of the instruments properly.
Not in the least bit interested in a factory wheel that isn't VR GTS spec, and probably not even then. Will have a look and see if I can find me a nice momo

MOMO RACE.. for the win.. Better than the best
i'm not tailgating, i'm keeping up with the pace car
OK. I'm getting a momo, either:
race Race Steering Wheel - Steering wheels - Products
nero Nero Steering Wheel - Steering wheels - Products
or jet Jet Steering Wheel - Steering wheels - Products
and that's it. will use a stock wheel for licensing if needed, can borrow one easy enough no doubt.

Go the race..
Or get the jet if you can get it colour coded to suit your trim

Yea might go for Jet with carbon highlights, and get a trimmer I know to throw some special order mulberry leather on it to tie it in nicely.![]()

cheapest place for new momo = ????
WTB: mulberry VN interior parts
i've bought a couple of momo 'race' wheels off ebay over the years for $250 at the most. cheapest on there now is $350 but ya never know a bargain might pop up later on. theres some other models on there at the moment at good prices. i reckon u would be lucky find a momo cheaper anywhere else, theres a couple of 'jet' wheels on there now around $250
im pretty sure the ebay store "rat global" is autotek's (momo distributor on the east coast) ebay store. i've never had any dramas shopping there

Hey bloke, if you're looking for a boss you can pick up a boss kit and a crappy wheel from supacheap auto for $70. Sell the crappy wheel in your MOMO box on a Falcon site and it's all good.
Warranty Void
^LOL
nice.
I'll need a boss, not sure if i need a momo specific one?? or if they are all the same?? but my SAAS one bloody fell apart. Didn't know a boss kit COULD fall apart, until this one did.
