Drivers Side Door Lock

My VNs drivers door wont lock anymore.. To lock the car I need to unlock the back right door, get out, shut the drivers door and lean in through the back to lock the front door, then lock and close the back door from the inside too.

The drivers door unlocks with the key, but won't lock. Any ideas on what I'm up for / easy fix?

I'm just gonna do this:

replacing vn door locks need help

Get a new lock.. It's already a different key so it won't be any worse

Just make sure the orange plastic insert on the snib is not falling out and catching when you try and Lock. Worth a look as it a simple fix other wise as above post recommends
