Hey all.
I have recently fitted a VR motor to my VP and have noticed its not doing so well.
IT runs fine, feels ok, but theres is a little bit lacking in the up and go department, Dont get me wrong its not much though but id still like it to give all it can give.
I have the VR ecu and memcal on hand aswell.
I was wondering, can i just throw the VR ecu into the VP or would i be looking at a custom foam tune ?
If so how the do i contact Mr foam and what priceing would i be looking at.
Ps i allso have a VR bcm and key head if any one is interested....
You can insert the VR Manual ECU into the VP only. If is is an auto ECU, then NO fit!
If you do use the VR ECU, you will also need the BCM signal and key, unless you get the memcal reprogrammed.
Vr was auto, VP has always been a manual.
Foam tune my only option ?
yeah that what I would do. foam tunes ftw
What is the best way for me to contact Mr Foam ?![]()
hey mate, the best way to contact him is search his name on ebay. on ebay he goes under the name "nicefrog". he usually doesnt have a memcal listing for vn-vp-vr-vs v6 commos (he prefers the v8's) , but just contact him through ebay, tell him what you want and he should be able to help you out.
Kk done and done, now just wait i gues haha.
Its been a couple of days and no responce, is this normal for Mr foam ?
