304 valve stem seals

Hi all
My 304 puff's a little smoke on a cold start up first thing in the morning & since its done 184,000 km I'm going to replace the valve stem seals.
I've bought some from repco & the one's they have supplied are a square section type that looks like an o ring
I remember that on older V8's they were a cap type like an inverted bucket
Are the o ring type I've been given correct? or is there another alternative?

Those are the standard ones, not the flashest but they do work. Not sure if you can get the better type, would be good if possible but more expensive of course
