hey guys, just wondering about something, ive always noticed my car's idle is weird while moving and rolling in neutral. like the car idles at about 700 revs when not moving at all, but when im driving and come to a hill, i'll put it in neutral and just roll down in neutral, but the car will rev at about 1100-1200 revs, but as i start to slow down (while still in neutral) the revs will gradually drop to about 900-1000 revs when i get down to about 20km/h, and then when i eventually come to a complete stop the revs will then drop back to 700 revs. is this normal that it doesnt always idle at 700 revs no matter what speed im doing? and if not what problems could it be? thanks for your help
Normal. Its the way the ecu has been programmed and uses the vss signal to increase rpm. Not sure why its there but may be an added quirk...lol.
