install trip computer into an executive vp?

hey guys, my work car has got a trip computer and i really like that i can see how much fuel the car is using and how much more kms are left in that tank of fuel and all the other fancy stuff it does, just wondering if its possible to install a trip computer into my vp executive?

Yes it is - with a patch loom for the trip computer and a modified switch block.

ok sweet as cheers mate. also is there a way of having a trip computer without getting the level 3 dash cluster? my brother has an EB fairmont and the trip computer is like a whole separate unit not inside the cluster, do you know if i can just use a trip computer off a different model car or something or should i just get a level 3 cluster and do it the proper way yous reckon?

Probably could get an after market unit - but why? for $250 you can have a proper fitting L3 cluster with all functions
