i'm thinkin if puttin turbo on my vp commodore but i dnt knw wat type and how much it's gonna cost me.
If you intending to use oyur vehicle on the road, I suggest that you first check with the Vehicle Registration Authority in your State as any changes to your vehicle that may interfere with or change the Emission Control will be illegal. Yes lots of people do it and recommend that others also do it in contravention of Emission Control Laws. Failure to comply could mean a lot of heartbreak and expense for you down the track. Remember : Any (ANY) modification(s), unless approved to ADR standards, that change/alter/modify any aspect of your vehicle from the ADR standards/requirements that existed at the time of manufacture of your vehicle are ILLEGAL.

apart from that ive heard on here a couple of blokes doing home set ups with just an old turbo they had lyin around for well under $1000, but i do not know how reliable they would be, unlike the one in the guide which will have some sort of insurance at least

Vs eco 3.8, extractors, 2.75" exhaust, roller rockers, cammed, bored out 20, t5 manual, rolling on king springs all way round with monroe gt shocks all way round, every door has a ding but looks can be very deceaving
allow $2000 for parts and then labour to make manifolds on top ive made lots of cheapo turbo setups now and unless you buy all the cheap second hand parts off ebay its still expensive.my turbo was 499 injectors 300+ map sensor 100ish fuel pump 200ish 3" exhaust 400ish maybe oil feed kit for urbo 150 bov 100 soon all adds up
