    Default Name that tow-bar

    Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me what sort of tow-bar this is? (Besides elusive) I've been trying to track one down off and on since i bought the thing about 3 years ago.

Only ever seen one on the back of a VN or VP Calais.

something like a part number would be nice

Any help would be good, think someone said it was a heavy duty one. about 1500KG.

I looked at the option list but couldn't see it there

A lot of companies make that style of towbar, it's proper name is a heavy duty hitch receiver. They come in 2 sizes, 40mm or 50mm, the way it uses a bolt to hold the tongue in, it could possibly be a genuine Holden one. Just go to any towbar place and see if they can match up a tongue. ADR's state that the measurement from the ground to the top of the ball is 350-460mm when laden. So unladen, usually 450mm to the top of the ball is good.
