no overdrive?

in the past few weeks ive noticed my car doesnt like going into overdrive anymore, at least i think thats what its called (the thing when at 88km/h the torque converter locks up). it used to do it all the time fine, but now it just doesnt like it, it will sometimes lockup the torque converter but then within like 20 seconds it will go back to normal and i dont like it cos i do alot of highway driving on the weekends. it used to rev at 1800 revs doing 100km/h with the overdrive on, but now it revs more closer to 2100-2200 revs cos its stuck in normal 4th gear. any ideas of what the problem could be and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. cheers

check the kickdown cable adjustment, may be out.
