Hi All,
I know this question has been asked a million times but I want to ask it in 2010!! I am after the Engine Management Workshop Manual for a VN V6. I have tried all the bookshops and Holden, and they are out of print, none available and I dont think they will reprint!! I have been told that they have a great description of the operation of the '808 computer and thats what im after.
Thanks for your help in advance,
Rob

Hi Delcowizzid,
No luck with them, no luck anywhere
Try ebay, occassionaly the factory V6 engine workshop manual pops up. This certainly contains information your after.
Hi Again,
I was Lucky? enought to tract down a "Service Manual Suppliment No.4 1990 Engine Manual UPDATE". Could anyone confirm if this is just a addition to the original manual, or if it is a complete reprint of the original manual with the new/modified bits added in?
Thanks again for your help

I used to do a mechanics course and they had a VN V6 on a engine stand that was used for tests, they also had the original full workshop manual and I had a chance to read through it. The manual was very indepth and descriped the complete workings of the ECU and the ignition module, it was a good read. I tried to get a copy of it but failed, I have not found a copy of it on the internet. There are copys of other manuals floating around. You could also try your local library as I have found service manuals and Haynes manuals at mine. The original workshop manual is worth the read because Holden really explain thier cars.
Thanks,
The book I have is 180 pages and a bit under 1cm thick - does this sound the same as you read?
