engine light comes on but only sometimes

ok guys this isnt worrying me 2 much but the engine light in my vp comes on like maybe once a month when i first start the car up but as soon as i drive it for about a min it turns off when it changes into about 2nd or 3rd gear should i be worried

Hi mate.. The best way to normally ID the prob is do the ECU Test

It gives you a code.. And you need to match it in that guide..and you'l find out why it's giving you the Light.

im just wondering if its worth it bcause it comes on about once a month for about 1 min and its been serviced regulary so im not worryin about it to much

Mine does the same but ive got a VN S Pack. But i think the engine needs a service. The odometre wasnt working when i brought the car so thats my number one concern. Plus radiator is out of VR which stuffed the water flow. So i had to put a series 1 VN back in.

Normally.. If I ever see that light show. I always do the check.. As it can be a minor fault that can lead to a bigger fault

im taking a guess but i think oxygen sensor. do that check as above

yea i will check but when i get my extraactors put in i will get the zorst guy to take a look at the sensor
