    Talking vn v6 trans will it fit in a v8 vn???

    guys need help will a v6 transmission fit in a v8??

    no different size bell housing
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

    the auto is the same internally almost but the bellhousing is diffrent so with an auto no cause they are a 1 peice case as for manual yes but with a fairly large amount of modification as bellhousing is diffrent and so is the input shaft so if i was u stick to using a V8 box behind a V8

    Its not that hard to change to a V6 manual box if you had a V8 manual box in there to begin with. Just change the bell housing and input shaft, you will also have slightly lower ratio gears in the V6 box so speedo will be out but it will give you a bit more acceleration.

    If ive of had a V6 T5 handy at the time i would of swaped it with the V8 one.

    I actually meant the automatic, but then I went back over the thread and saw that you said autos were one piece
