My vn is looking a bit worse for wear.. also was a victim in the hailstorm..
Anyone know of a good sprayer in melb.. preferably eastern suburbs?
Cheers
Yeah i also need to get my roof resprayed. Any sprayers around the 3081 area?
With great cars, comes great drivers.
Monash Car Centre in Springvale (where I work) does a good job if thats nearby, although couple it with the hail damage and you are looking at a pretty penny. How bad is the hail?

A-Z Accident Repairs in Dandenong have worked on my vy and vp and i couldnt be happier. Check out their website for details
Ask for Arthur.
Cheers
lol you work there??? I had my SS in there after rear-ending someone a couple of years ago and it took 3 goes to get the paint right. First time the clear coat bubbled and peeled and then I got it back with runs in the paint. I was so unimpressed with the work it caused me to dump my insurance company after 12 years for one that offers choice of repairer. I certainly wouldn't recommend Monash Car Centre!
I've only been there this year, so can't speak for 3 years ago, but 1 painter has only been there 18 months or so, and the other 2 only about 2 or 3 (been in the trade a lot longer of course).
Besides, now I go over pretty well every repair now before they go out. (God I hope noone has had a bad experience this year!)

Is Ray still managing the place?
hail damage is pretty bad.. looking at just popping what i can out and spraying over.. how much for a basic respray at monash?
Yeah, and the panel beaters and mechanic have been there for years as well as far as I know
Its not as simple as popping them out, and when you try and end up with highs and lows everywhere then there will end up being a lot of prep work for the repairer anyway. As far as the cost...no idea, I have nothing to do with it and have never needed to find out. I know if we contract out hail to PDR guys they charge us anything up to $4g a car. I'll try to find out for you today

Yeah it'd just be easier for me to get a rolling shell and put the motor into that, i saw one on her for $800 which would be a lot more convenient
instead of just poping them all out, pop the nice and easy ones out, and then just bog the deeper ones, maybe metal fill it first then bog etc, just make sure you block the bog flat when you go to prime!
