hey guys, i have a vp v6 auto and its got a 2.5 inch exhaust with a lukey muffler and a lukey resonator, and a set of pacemakers too, but im not too happy with the sound at low revs. i love the sound around the top end of the rev range, but down in low revs it has that annoying droning sound that sounds like those big cannon tips you always see on little lancers and civics. now im not fully familiar with what resonators do (feel free to correct me), but to my understanding they quieten down the exhaust a bit, give it a better exhaust note, and get rid of a bit of that annoying droning sound. so my question is- if i had 2 resonators instead of just 1 would that sort out the low rev drone and perhaps even make the high end sound even better? im not into super loud exhausts, i just want one that has a good exhaust note and doesnt sound like a 4 cylinder mitsubishi lancer with a cannon tip on the end of it. any suggestions would be good too. cheers

No-one got any ideas, no-one done this before?
Then I suggest you buy a different car. All V6 Commodores with a 2 1/2" system sound pretty much the same. It's personal taste, some people like it some don't.
You will have to change the front muffler to a less straight through design. Try an open chambered glass packed muffler.
