    Default Water Cap Lost

I poped my bonnet to find the cap of the water tank missing (Not for washers etc) The water tank for the radiator etc. The radiator is a VR one so i dont know if VN's have the cap there or not. Where can i get a new one? Also is it still ok to drive around town without a cap?

    Thanks.

    Not much from supercrap, $5-$10

They have a little book you can read that will tell you the corect cap, If you have a VR radiator grab one for a VR to be on the safe side. You might want to go the non return type since its in a series 1 VN, IF you's in a series 2 just grab the standard cap with the return.

When its hot allows for expansion and excess collant flows to over flow, when its cooling it sucks it back in etc.

Well would it be alright to drive the car there? Its about 5-10mins away from me. Or will the coolant/water piss out everywhere?

Well im unsure if i even screwed it on. Because the bonnet rarely opens without someone pushing the front down first. Which is a pain in the ass! Supercheap were idiots. Went to my mechanic and he said go to Burson. $15 for a damn cap! Cant wait till the car is gone! Over it completly!

Ive always just walked to the section, flicked through the book looked up the part number, grabed cap, paid and left, Never stung me 15 dollars for one either, Max i think is $10
