    Default Camshaft/ crankshaft timing position??

Hey all. I think I put this in the wrong thread. What's the camshaft/crankshaft position in order to get the cam timing correct?
I still have the origy in there but the keyway at 12:00 means the camshaft dot is either at 12:25 or 12:55??
Found the rattle wasn't from the timing chain or the fact the tensioner had dropped into the sump, but Im doing the replacement anyway with a dual roller rollmaster and doing away with the tensioner and the balanceshaft gear...
I reckon it's actually the belt tensioners lubrications dried up, causing the "rattle"

All sorted, Hadn't opened the box yet.
Destructions inside. Old gear position obsolete anyways...multi keyway crankshaft..

All done. runs well. The noise was the tensioner- Could have sworn it was the chain tensioner dropped into the sump and the chain itself rattling. No damage on the inside of the timing cover. Balance shaft gone. balance shaft gear on camshaft gone to make way for the dual roller...
    Schweet!
