Default wagon keeps flooding engine till it runs out tailpipe.

My wagon keeps flooding if i pull the fuse out for fuel pump it sometimes fires and coughs, even runs sometimes for 10 seconds. any ideas

Allredy changed the MAP sensor, Throttle body and sensors, injectors and fuel pressure regulator, crank angle sensor and balancer, coil pack, and main computer. Gives me a "12" so should be all good.

    HELP

pull your fuel rail off but leave it plugged in, put plastic bags over each injector and zip tie them up, leave it for a while when you come back you will see if you have a leaky injector and which one it is

just go get 6 of a ecotec they fit and makes them run better should stop the problem unless the return line is blocked that would drown it

Have taken fual rail off and noted that when you turn the key on all 6 injectors spray for little bit less than 1 second then stop, no leaks. When I rolled it over I thought that each injector would give a seperate pulse for each piston firing time but was not the case. All injectors just pumped fuel. Will have a look at the wiring loom next. Thanks

Sounds like an ECU or MEMCAL to me (even though you said you changed it). Had exactly the same problem with brothers VN 5 litre.

memcal is inside the ECU, take the cover off the ECU and the memcal unclips. Try swapping that with your mates car see if its any better

the idea with putting bags over the injectors is to leave the car sitting, dont turn it on so they spray fuel, just leave it sitting then you can see if you have a leaky injector.

K today changed the entire wiring harness and all sensors injectors throttle body and computer oxy sensor , every thing that the wiring harness connected to, out of a vp auto. the only thing that I had trouble with was shortning the wire for the oxy sensor, bit of cuting and soldering, and the sensor in front of the water pump. VN didnt have one to begin with so I left it disconnected. Just tied up rest of the wires for the auto as I dont need them. Now tried to start the thing and the same problem exist. More fuel.

Now will try tying bags around the injectors, should i leave the key on to maintain presure or off.

Could my fuel pump provide to much presure,(Presure regulator should take care of this though???), Or maybe internal engine probs. When I parked it in my drive it was running fine.!!!

    Im stuck with this one.
