stalling auto

i have a vn v6 auto that stalls when in idle.
only reacently started happening and only happens occasionaly.

is your air filter all clogged up maybe? it would have to be pretty bloody bad to stall though. maybe try cleaning out your throttle body. maybe even the TPS or IAC sensor (they are the sensors that are connected to the throttle body), or map sensor (the small black rectangular box that sits against the firewall behind the air intake duct near the air con evaporator). just some thoughts that come to mind. good luck mate

even try checking your gearbox fluid. . . similar thing happened to me, was driving and it stalled, and then started working... so drove around and when i put it into park it stalled... turned out box was empty . . leaks all fixed and new fluid and she runs like new

Yea same thing happend with my VN when i blew the trans
