Speedometer flicker.

Hi all, after searching I have failed to find a clear answer.

The problem is that when I go past 92KM/h the needle flicks down to 0 and straight back up, about 5 second intervals.

When I picked up my VP last Monday it was fine, 2 days later it started happening.

This thread was the closest thing but wasn't exactly clear.

I haven't touched the dash or transmission.
Is it possible that something has came loose?
Or is the speed sensor screwed?

Any help will be much appreciated.

to me that sounds like a speed sensor issue.....

change the speedo sensor...same thing happened to my VP. 1 wire was broken and hanging off 1 strand.
