start up problems....

hey peeps....arrr were to start..i have a run down vn series 1 just got it start of this year was told it was a good car test drove it was happy with it drove it home got half way home and the promlem's started an havn't stopped since,i've just fix a major oil leak that was due to a very old front seal and a rooted timing case gasket....an now that thats all been fix i cant get the thing to start again????????????????i broke a wire that come's off the back of the crank angle sensor but mended it and i'm unsure if thats what causing it not to start or if there's some thing else i dont know bout these bloody motors lol...please guys i need my car on the road for me kids i need all ya help.......speak soon hopefuly........VNPETE

did you check you fuses, may of shorted out when it broke.
did you try and turn the motor over while the wire was broken?
is it cranking just not firing??

havn't checked fuse's....arrr no i didnt try turn it over while the was broken..and yes it's just cranking not firing..man it was running before i touch'd it lol
