v8 stage 2 shiftkit

I just got a stage 2 shiftkit & corvette servo for $450 with service & new filter etc but for some reason it only seems to chirp 2nd coming out of a corner & go a bit sideways & not everytime rarely on a straight. Anyone know what the deal is im running stock 225 15s on my vn ss. My diff whines a bit maybe I should get it recond with 3:45 diff gears and then it will chirp everytime?? other than that it changes a shitload faster than ever.

it aint a stge 2 stage 1 at best if its stage 2 with lsd it will go sideways a little in the dry fully sideways in wet stage 2 is pretty harsh

I asked for a transgo stage 2 kit mate they said yes, I dunno what it could be it goes sideways in dry but not everytime like all my mates with the stage 2. You reckon I should go get it check at another place?

theres a few holes that get drilled out and depending on what size you make them is how hard the gears hit plus if you make more torque they dont hit so hard.mine with no turbo chirps the tyres hard out and spins as soon as its boosted it doesnt anymore same thing happened with the vr auto without the charger attached serious hard change chirping and spinning sc on no chirp and thats with the biggest holes lots of other things effect it like the fluid pump in the trans and the TV or kickdown cable as everyone calls it.

well I got a foamy tune with 70mmtb 3in catback exhaust factory exctractors good leads good plugs but dont think that would be giving it much more torque, im just guessing my diff gears are a bit screwed because the diff is whiny so its not kicking in as hard. I may be wrong but id like to solve it so it chirps all the time in the dry, would it cost much to get it checked out by another place?

You should of specified to your gearbox builder that you wanted it to "chirp" gears. A good gearbox builder will build it so it doesn't because it slows the car down when it spins into the next gear.

all good I got it sussed just adjusted the kickdown cable & it kicks in & chirps hard into 2nd everytime. Cheers

mine changed really hard into second when cold but not as hard when warmed up but saying chirping all the the time. id say no different roads road heat all makes it different aha post above yeah slack cable makes them dopey.
