to build or not to build

hey guys/gals
ive got a little problem at the momment,i have a vn 1991 s-pac with vp v6 and 4 speed auto.
i just got alot of money, and now im looking into a full re-spray with eaither an aero bodykit or re-spray & sound system and vn calais seats.looking at jet black with a red or blue pearl.
but this is where my problem`s at.if i do all thows nice things to the car im affraid that someone would scratch it or throw eggs or sumthing to just crap me off.so on a voting pole do you all think i should follow my dream and make it shine.or should i just scrap it and move on?
(also even if i get an alarm or camera,that really aint going to stop some people)

u must live in an ass of a town. lol.. why does it have a vp engine with an auto in it? wat happened to ur manual and vn engine?

the vn motor that was in it,had blow head gaskets,manifold gaskets blown,tappet cover broken,to sum it up it was stuffed.and at the time i couldent find a 5 speed for it(not happy)where im from its if you have a nice car expect to get it banged up

well I spose you cant let something like that deter you. My car very very nearly ended up in somebody elses hands this morning but my neighbour stopped them. If you dont build your dream car then thats all you wil have.... a dream car!!! I say go for it and be happy while it lasts

i live parking in a closed up garage haha none of these problems...i rekon dont let stooges deter u go for it build her up.. if some1 does something to it then deal with them!

yep yep i recon go it, and make her schmick :P i alwayz have people doin shit to my car... paint scratches and missing stickers n shit but i still build my baby cause shes mine and she needs it :P......yes i think a lil to high of my car

i just brought a full set of vn calais seats($250)
and a full sound system for the car($1,200)
spray job in 5 months($3,500)(anyone got any ideas of dark colours?)
ive also got a guy working on the block and head as i type this,($1,200)(pressure testing and cleaning)
full rebuild kit pistons rings ect.(not sure weather to go with a lumpy cam or just roller rockers)($1,000)
trying to find a set of vt v8 brakes but coming up with nothing
and buying a set of 17 inch rims from my sisster($200)just needs tyres
thats about it for now untill i think of somthing else.
but anyway get back to me about all of your thoughts
