vp berlina imobilizer problems

can any one help me i cant get my car to start ive replaced the battery in the remote but that didnt help. the red light lights up but the press remote dash light still lights up and the car wont start

try holding the remote ? if that doesnt work do ya have the key to turn the imobilizar off its located on the passenger door pillar
