hi! i have none working horn.. iv tolk my sports wheel off an checked the wire an its conected, iv checked the horn at frunt of car an all wires are conected.. has anyone got any info on that?
the brass ring on the back of the wheel needs to make contact with the small round button. If you look at the back of the original wheel you will see the brass ring.

it didnt come with original wheel.. but funny you mention that, i didnt see the brase ring when i swop wheels with my subaru an pluss i had to take that ring of the subarus bosh for the subaru horn to work..
i must check that

Fuse maybe? If its not the brass ring..
relay or fuse and just make sure the wiring is all good
Black box attatched to the fuse box under the bonnet. Should have a sticker on it with the relay's and it's positions.
im guessing it may be the brass ring on the boss kit not hitting the the brass pin...pull your wheel off and have a look at the brass pin on the steering column. my horn was working fine when i put a sports wheel on and then after a year or 2 it stopped. this was because that brass pin wore down and it wasnt making contact..just went to the wreckers and got a pin from a commodore that didnt have a sports wheel attached so that it wasnt worn down and changed it over...all good now.
hope this helps

ok iv changed the horn relay an checked the brass ring an checked the fuse again... but still no horn, so im thinking it might be the horn it self.. ill put a tester on it next week
ive kinda got opposite issue.. had stock wheel on for rwc and horn worked great, took it off to put my sports one on and used the bras ring from stocko on sports cause sports didnt have one.. but the horn just stays on constantly.. well was stayin on constantly when i was putting wheel one... does that usually happen then stop once wheel is firmly on? or another issue?
With your wheel off connect the brass buttony thing to earth with a test light. No light and no horn = no power present on dashboard side of relay. Light and no horn = no power present on horn side of relay. Light and horn working = poor connection from brass button to earth via horn switch on wheel. You could also short the relay to see if the horn is ok.

Hey Guys just thought id use a similar thread. Ive got 1 of those Autotechnica steering wheels, the horn used 2 work but upon pulling it off 2day i found the black wire attached 2 the horn centre wasnting atttached at the other end. It does have a blob of solder on that other end so assuming it was a **** solder joint. Now should this black wire b soldered 2 the same wire that the bass pin is attached 2? i cant see any evidence that it was soldered on there at all.
Edit: Horn does work just earthed it with a test light and made contact on the brass ring and it works, so where does that black wire go so i can use the horn centre?

The black wire should be connected to the actual boss kit I think. I might be wrong

Yea I mean on all the boss kits I've seen one wire has gone to the brass ring and another wire has been soldered into a hole on the boss
