It's cranking but no start? The 2 things you need are fuel and a spark so your going to have to check if there is a spark first of all. You can just pull off a few spark plug leads and crank the motor if there is a spark it will jump from the HT terminals on the coil packs down to the screw heads holding the packs in place. If no spark check your wiring. If ther eis a spark check that you have fuel start with the fuel pump and then you may have to check for an injector pulse.
How much of the later wiring loom did you use and are you using the same ECU?
When cranking, accessories get shut off. Make sure you haven't connected fuel pump or ignition power to a source that shuts off when you crank. I know someone who did this to the fuel pump and it drove him nuts for 3 days, checking & rechecking. I think I narrowly avoided getting punched when I guessed this first go after he'd fixed it.
