Default Any Help for a noob?

Hey guys how u all doing? I recently bought a VN for $600, its pretty good condition apart from the 2 dents in the back n the transmission is leaking... I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on wat i could do to my car to make it into an awesome car, keeping in mind that the new P plater laws apply to me.... Also, if anyone lives near by to me or knows any good stores near by any help would be much appreciated.. I live in Castle Hill, Western Sydney..
lastly, any one have any ideas on how much it is to fix the damaged back n fix transmission leaking?

    Cheers Everyone
    Have a good one

dude.. have i already told u to look at the Guide to: i wrote?? look at it!! that will complete ur engine side.. for ur tranny get a new gasket and some new fluid... if it is leaking from the tranny sump that is.. while ur there u should throw in a new filter... get some rims and give ur car a lower.. its all about money! give her a buff and get the dents fixed!

haha no questions is dumb.. lol ok most questions are dumb but ill let ya off lol!! the back door is it just stuck? tryin holding the handle open and giving it a shuv with ur leg or something mabe its just stuck.. or the inside of it might be broken in which case u will have to take off the interal door trim and inspect for breaks. or damage.. if u get the trim off u can more or less stick ur hand in pull the shaft and the door will pop open!

    Cool

an exellent score, mate !!!!! I would bin the spoiler...pretty hard to fix them, unless ure right into fibreglassing etc..... the litle ding under the taillight.....you should be able to just paintstrip or sand all the paint out of the ding, and bog it and paint over it........ engine bay looks like it could do with a de-grease.......as mentioned above....filter changes plugs , leads etc etc......get a mate to hold the door handle up..and ly on your back on th eseat...and kick the mother....should open.....or, as said earlier.....peel the trim off..( get a little screwdriver to remover the red bit on the lock button...).....and you can then open her up via 1 of the rods inside the door...

    hey guys,
yea the kicking thing didn't work... I think something is broken within the door coz the child lock is on, but u can't open it from the outside, i took the door trim off n everything but I can't seem to fix it, if u live near me(castle Hill) i'd welcome any help available but besides that I might need to bring it into a mechanic to fix it, my mates uncle is one so hopefully he'll give me a discount or something
