    Default Idle Problem

    Hey guys i've just had my throttle body off to change my thermostat in my series 1 v6 and cleaned it in the same process and now that i have it back together it seems to idle alot higher how do i fix this???? any help would be muchly appreciated....

    do you have the specs and and step by step on how to do it??? don't own a manual for it yet....

    take air intake off, put ya finger over the IAC valve hole to stop any air bypassing that, and adjust the small little screw next to the throttle lever, it may have a plastic cap on it. make the engine idle just below its normal idle speed. take ya finger off, revs will increase then will settle. if revs dont settle, IAC motor will need cleaning or replacing.
