VN kickdown cable

can someone explain to me how to adjust my kickdown cable on my vn v6

Find the kickdown cable end on the throttle body. Push in the metal tab to release the ratchet and the cable sheath should spring back. Open the throttle by hand until it contacts the stop screw - the cable sheath should drag back out and lock in the extended position.
