question about computer diagnostic check VN, engine warning light flashes...

hi guys, realised i need to do the computer check and see why my engine warning light keeps flashing, so on the instructions for reading the flashes its asking me to bridge the black and white cables with a paper clip, i dont understand what this means, any advice appreciated..

Hey mate, you have to find the wiring connection under the dash on the passenger side, and put each end of the paper clip into the holes where the wires are. Then turn your car on (but dont start it) and your dash will start flashing and you gotta count how many times it flashes and you will get your error code. Good luck

Find this plug under the glovebox in the corner,then connect the holes with a paper clip, as shown with the red line in the pic.Turn the ignition key to the on position, (dont start the engine though)and the engine light will flash up any logged error codes. It will flash code 12 three times,and then any logged error codes.It will just continuously flash code 12 if there are no error codes logged.

hey guys

i been getting a check light on my duel fuel vp

only when i flick petrol on it comes up before i start the car

ive done this error code business and all that comes up is a flash 3 times then short pause then another flash 3 times then a long pause..and it just repeats
