Hi
I've got a 1993 VP Commodore wagon which I bought about 6 years ago. I am in no way mechanically minded. Have poured 1000's of $$$ into getting the damn thing up to speed and only recently discovered that the 'bottom end bearing' or some such thing has 'gone' requiring a full engine rebuild.
I had just spent $1500 on a new set of Michelin tyres and a new cooling system. Time to stop pouring money down the toilet and buy a new car - which I did (different make! - although still a Holden fan).
Now the fan belt is frayed - pathway is out of alignment -so looks like it will be snapping belts.
Time to get rid of the car (i was planning on keeping it as a 2nd vehicle to drive locally - while the new car does all the big trips, going to work, etc.).
Does anyone have an idea what it would be worth? (probably not much more than the new tyres - which are only a few months old and would have barely done 500km)
Would be ideal for someone who wants to rebuild, or to a wrecker.
I'd like to dispose of this car as painlessly as possible and perhaps get a few 100 bucks.
Loved the car - lot of family memories, travel etc.
Will miss the Commodore.
Live in SOuth of Adelaide.

You might as well part it out and get some money back that way or sell it to a wrecker.
I may be interested mate. What colour is it and is the trans in good condition?
