factory sunroof?

Gday, i had a look in the VN option codes in the sticky thread and either there isnt one for a sunroof, or im just too tired to read it properly.. anyway my S pack VN has a sliding sunroof, not electric, just a good old arm powered one.

i am trying to find out if this is factory, or if they even had that as an option from factory, any input is appreciated.

i believe only vk had a factory sunroof which was fitted during production of the car,after that,if you wanted a sunroof it was fitted by the dealership aftermarket which im led to believe

i am pretty sure VQ stato's had factory eletric sunroofs as an option

ive seen oem switches for vq statos i think on ebay

VQ statos, some VP calais ive seen have electric ones.

thanks for the replys, so even though it may not be from factory, it could be from a dealership?
i will chuck some photos up tomorrow and see if you guys can recognise it

yeah it could have been from a dealership,maybe who originaly bought the car wanted a sunroof but didnt want to fork out for an electric one or was worried that it would stuff up so just got that one instead,my sisters old 99 toyota echo had the same wind one in it

it is not a factory sunroof, they only put them in factory from 2003-2005. read this thread.

Wat brand is the sunroof? ive got 1 in mine i always assumed it was aftermarket coz i didnt get the lid 2 hide the sunroof in the hood lining but after fiddling around in the engine bay recently i noticed a small silver sticker from wen the sunroof was fitted and who by etc....

Sky Top, Power moon roof is written on it and says it was done on the 23/12/92 wen on my build plate the car was done on the 11/12/92

when i found the warranty card in my books i realized mine is aftermarket and thats when i started searching on it and found the only ever factory roof's were built between 2003-2005. mines got the slide thing in the roof lining and looks 100% ike the roof is meant to be there thats why i thought it was factory but its not
