Hey all, I have a VP with 208,000km's and I changed the oil the other day, and now there is smoke coming from the engine.
The smoke is on the opposite side to where you put the oil in (so drivers side) it looks like it is coming out of the Spark plugs?? Does this mean oil on the plugs? and if it does, does it mean that the manifold gaskets are leaking? Should I be worried about the head?
It doesn't rough idle or miss at all, and doesn't over heat.
Anyone have any ideas?

Did you spill any oil on the exhaust manifolds? let the car cool down wipe away all visible oil then see if it still does it, if you drive it for a bit and its not a leak it will burn off ans stop smoking other wise its most likley your rocker cover seal.
I didn't spill any from what i can see, i gave it a wipe down anyhow, used some brake cleaner as well, took it for a drive and it still smoked...
easy fix or hard?

Find out exactly were its coming from, rocker cover gaskets are a really easy fix. Oil dosent flow through the inlet manifold at all so it wont be coming from there.
Yep sounds like the gaskets are gone, i replaced mine and still get a little oil leak now and then. Replace them, degrease/wash your engine bay, let it dry, RP7, then turn the engine on and let it run until you don't see any more smoke. Should do the job.
