Yeah no luck with prying the door open
I did the same I locked mine in over night in the
Ignition and when I finally realized were they were
I was shocked my car was still there anyways
Bust the boot lock and stick a flat screw driver
In there and turn it it should open then kick the
Middle of the seat in then get a long stick ( I used a pool cue)
And then unlock the back door
Worked for me
^^^^^^^That sounds like the worst idea ever
Commos arnt real easy to break into as far as using a coat hanger/packing stips goes. The back doors might be easier to work with as they have a bigger likage setup to get at.....but thats a maybe.
As far as being wreckless and smashing screw drivers into locks, well they dont do so well. But if you do that, your better off smashing a window. Cheaper to fix and you wont have a odd ball key for a new lock you will have to get.
maybe find a door off the same model car, take off the door trim and have a good look at the handle/lock setup. hopefully u can find somewhere to poke around with a coathanger etc to unlock it.
if not, the rear 1/4 window is probably going to be the easiest to replace if u have to smash onethere is a how to replace 1/4 window thread around here somwhere if it comes to that, hopefully it wont

Another vote for racv, just give them a call and they should be able to quote you how much it would be for them to come out and do it
Honestly smashing windows, busting locks and kicking things in are about the dumbest ideas I have heard, why break the car? I locked the keys in my VN, not meant to be able to happen but the mechanism in the drivers door that stops you doing it wears out. Anyway the NRMA/RACV had it open in about 30 seconds. they have a rubber bladder that goes in behind the rear top corner of the drivers door and they inflate it with a hand pump to open a gap and then stick something down to pull on th door button. No damage to the car at all. If your not in a road service organisation either join then call them or pay them for a one off. It will be cheaper and easier than smashing your car and then having to fix it.
just smash the front windscreen

yeah RACV would get my vote. I'm not sure that telling people on a public forum how to break into a car and yet make it look legit is the smartest thing to do though?
I locked myself out of my VN twice from memory. I don't think anyone would buy one to steal from cars they would just break into the car. I'd also think with the age of these cars now and a well worn drivers door lock you may even be able to use someone elses key?
You can get them online; http://lockout-kits-things.co.cc/eas...without-damage
My vote is passenger side window, thats how i got into mine, $30 fix at wrecker, took 30min to change
the easiest way to get into it would be what i have done a few times on my VN, even on VT's, i'm not a thief or anything but the missus is quite clumsy when it come to locking the keys in her car. I have an old buick v6 dipstick that i have bent to work with a tab on the end, all you do is pry the top corner of the drivers doors out with a flat screwy until you can get the dip stick in then saw back and fourth down until you are low enough to reach the lock, hook in the bent tab and pull back up. It take about 15secs after some practice and due to the dipsticks better strength compared to a coat hanger it will easily overcome central locking crap too. I keep it in the boot in case i see some1 at the shops struggling. PS please don't use this trick for Evil, Karma's a bitch and the evil dipstick gods will hunt you down
Done this a few times myself and was shown by an raa member how to get back in without breaking any windows ,its that easy even my misses did it......get a coat hanger bend up one end go to your back door slid it down the glass into door with the bent side facing back ,,now slide it down and towards the back of your car and lift up it should grap hold of your door lock mech opening your door but not unlocking it??????its really easy
Got it open, Rang racv in the end, they quoted me 200 odd dollars, i was like wtf, it'd be cheaper to smash the window, Then told them im 19 and they changed it to $41 and signed me up for roadside assist, not too shabby
But i watched how he opened it.. seems to be a pretty easy operation
packing strapping works the bestthe stuff they use on bricks just have to bend it the right way its really not too difficult
took me about 5 min on my first trygood luck with it mate
Easy way to do it at home. Ive done this before, Grab a door wedge and pry it in the top corner so you have a gap big enough for your finger to fit, grab a coat hanger and bend it out straight with a hook in the end then fish your keys out. When i did it they were in the ignition if there somewere else its a bit harder.
