Firstly i would like to say hi and what a great forum you have, many great reads and posts!!
Just a bit of advise from the resident experts . I recently stumbled onto a 1991 vn sv enhanced
5.0 litre. . To be honest i didn't know anything about this model. From what I have researched here and
elsewhere it is an executive base done up by HSV and labeled as a hsv sv 130 exec.
The car is in fridge white which I don't really mind, has a 5.0 litre auto, leather interior, and sits on
17 inch ss rims. The body is straight as you can get, paint is great, no rust at all as it was a garaged car,
genuine 200km with a log book and most services completed and drives very nicely to boot........
The only thing that I would need to do is a fulll service including trany and cooling system , as i only plan to drive it on weekends.
Two quick questions, firstly, what is it worth and should I just go 3rd party or full comp. Racv quoted
$240 and 580 respectively. and secondly is this a desirable model ?
thanks for any advise guys and (girls), highly appreciated..........bill
The SV130's went under the radar a little. Not a big HSV model on the hit list tho.
But a very nice car all the same- I'd have one .

Personally i'd jump at any 5 litre vn thats only got 200,000 k's on it and still runs well, but thats just me. If its as good as your describing it to be I would expect it to go for around the $5000 area?
