Help on valuation of my VN 1989 VN SV100

Just wondering if someone could please tell me what my commodore is worth ?

I have a 1989 VN SV100. It has done 200,000kms but is in good condition. Seems to me this is a very rare model, I cannot find it on Redbook.com.au or anywhere.

I bought my VN for 5000

Its a hsv enhanced calais sv120. It has the same same steering wheel as yours,interior is full leather and level 3 cluster, sv5000 style bodykit fitted factory, climate control, cruise, power windows/mirrors trip computer etc

also afaik the sv enhanced commodores all had the "walky" wheels not the ones yours has which may or may not affect value.

They are "rare" afaik but probably arent worth much or ever will be...

Things are only as expensive as what people are willing to pay

If the car is in GREAT COND.. I mean, Engine fires first go.. All tyres are nice n' legal.. Suspension is good..Exhaust is good..Roof is not sagging..NO Rust in bootwell or Rear Window pannel..Make sure everything works n' all.. Id personally say $4,000.. To around $2,500.
But.. it depends where you are trying to sell it tho,

Also.. you can potentially sell the car for more if you provide a Current Road Worthy for it.
And even Rego (but thats if your feeling nice lol..)

(end time 18-Jul-10 21:57:53 AEST) have a look here at a group a,. i know the value is vastly different but make sure you dont sell yourself short! try the squared arches website and various other holden sites, someone must not what they are worth roughly. i mean at the end of the day vn 5 litres can be picked up as little as a couple of grand but in good nick, youre looking at a couple more. good luck champ, but maybe just sit on your baby for a little bit before you jump the gun
