my vn got keyed

wtf! i woke up this morning an found that my vn driver side frunt gard to my driver side door had a long an deep key scratch in it.. so now im up for a respray on those two panels, iv already have sanded an spay putteyed the gard an door with primer spay putty paint, but the funt of the gard keeps blistering were the key scratch starts or ends at... so i resanded it back an gave it a couple of coats with out sanding inbetween coats.. so now it only blisters in a small patch.. so i gave it a finnish with a black guide coat ready for resanding once again.. then ill respay putty that bit again next week... then hopfuly i can prime an under coat it so it will be ready for the top paint

you really need to take it back to metal or at least fill it with filler and make sure its super smooth before it gets painted! i once had my 4x4 keyed for supposedly stealing some aholes parking spot in a shopping centre car park ( i tell ya if i had been able to find his car it wouldnt have had a window left!) its just down right disrespectful! i would have rathered a fist fight for the spot! anyway to get it right it had to go back to bare metal as before it did every time it got a coat it dried with the key mark all the way along it! very very sad! but true unfortunately
