Angry vp v6 5 speed stalling issues

my vp v6 5 speed occasionally stalls when coming to a stop or cornering with the clutch in? it drops that low in rpm it stalls which can be a little embarrasing when pulling up at stop lights or the like! it not all the time just every now and then! it has no problem starting back up or idling once restarted! and it doesnt stall every time! only about a qaurter of the time or even less its just so weird! any suggestions people?

would i be right in assuming the air sensor is the part that is screwed on to the bottom of the throttle body with the wires coming out of it?

I bought a can of the CRC Mass air flow sensor cleaner the other day and did the missus' MAF senser on her pajero, gave it a good spray and it made a huge difference. Cans cost $30 or so but it made a difference for her car, havent done the commodore yet havent driven it.
