vp sterio code

hey guys i disconnected the battery on my vp the other day and now my sterio needs a code. I dont have any books or info for this car and was just wondering if theres a way i can get it to work????

im about to put my foot through it lol.
oh and id buy an aftermarket one but i dont want to spend more money on a cd player then i did on the car

you need to take your rego papers into a Holden dealer and they look it up for you. Then you type it in and hey presto it will work again. Its a security feature holden used to stop people stealing them way back then. If you type the wrong code in 3 times it will lock up on you for a set time.

When you get the code disconnect the battery then reconnect and you type the numbers the dealer gives you using the numbers on the front. I had to do this on my VP aswell, its not hard. Matt

ring up holden with the vin number and stuff and they should be able to get you the code not sure if it costs or not though

haha yer im pretty tempted to kick the bloody thing lol.

hope they dont charge. might just try my luck with some numbers lolz, this could take a while hehe
