vp starter

hey my starter motor in my s2 vp keeps winding after i let go of the key.i had some guy say they have a clutch in the in th end of them and they do that if they get dirty so i took the starter out and it still keeps winding after i let go of the key.

i took it out and cleaned it i meant to say

sounds more like a faulty ignition switch to me
