Need a new gearbox

ive got a 1990 V6 vn calais and the engine and the box are on its way out so i need to know of some places
were they do reconditioned transmissions in melbourne?

If the engine and box are going you might be able to get both done at once pretty cheap.... i'd talk to Aaron or Shane at Commodore Frenzy in Kalman Drive Boronia (03 9729 8126), I've bought parts off them for years and had them supply and install my uni's and gearbox recently. I won't bother going anywhere else now. They also do mechanical work and conversions, engine/box swaps etc. You should see if you can get a price to upgrade to VS running gear if the rest of the car is in good shape, that'd be pretty nice, a VN with ecotec and electronic tranny, wouldn't be many of those around.

Thanks for that Warranty Void... yeah i know what u mean cause the rest of the car is in immaculate condition just a shame the box and enigine are neaarly gone starting to sound like a two stroke, plus a bit more power and thats always a good thing
