Can i replace my charcol can with a ol catch can?

Hell NO. The charcoal canister is for petrol vapours shouldn't have any oil in it at all.

u dont need the charcoal cannister at all - ... however u may get a fuelly smell which could knock u out lol .... u could always empty the charcoal in the catch can and seal it up then use it i imagine that would work fine - or like ive done (stole the idea) moved it - relocated it down where the vac ball is so its hidden.

It is illegal to not have a factory charcoal cannister fitted or to have it disconnected, but only if you get cause I guess..
